Facility Rental

The Nelles Manor has been used for over 2 centuries as a place of meeting, for weddings, celebrations and for many other purposes.  The facilities at Nelles Manor can still be rented for special events, weddings, and film shoots.

  • Use of the grounds for wedding ceremonies, pictures, private parties, and/or outdoor receptions
  • Photographs are permitted on the grounds only
  • Option: Guided Tours of the museum can be arranged with your facility rental. Please ask for details

Rental Fees for the Grounds:

General: $125/hour
Use of the grounds for wedding or group photographs $100/hour plus HST (max. 3 hours)

The Manor:

The main rooms (main floor) of the manor can be rented for special occasions.   The rooms include the main parlor, Dining Room, Reception and Ancient Kitchen.

  • Room Sizes:
    • Parlor:   Approx. 20′ x 30′ (600 sq ft)
    • Reception /Main Hall: Approx. 8’ x 30’
    • Dining room Approx. 15’x 15’
    • Old Kitchen Approx. 20’x20’
  • Capacity: 30 (chairs only) or 15-25 (tables and chairs)
  • Includes use of kitchenette

Rental Fees for the Manor:

Weekday (M-F, 9am-4pm): $20/hour per room
Weekend/Evening: $50/hour per room

Fees for rental of the Manor for a private function (wedding, reception)
Up to 10 persons $300
10 – 20 persons $400
20 – 30 persons $500

(minimum 3 hours)

  • The use of a limited number of tables, chairs and picnic tables is included in the rental fees
  • Set up, take down and cleanup is not included
  • Food leftovers and waste removal is the responsibility of the rental party
  • All prices subject to HST where applicable

Rules of the House

  • Shoes must be removed unless soft soled and in inclement weather
  • Please do not touch the furniture or artifacts as many are 100’s of years old and would be damaged by continued handling
  • No High heeled shoes are permitted in the House
