Doug Feaver is a singer/songwriter/storyteller/performer from Grimsby Ontario who plays guitar, harmonica, boots, drums, banjo, bass, and sitar, and his roots are in rock, folk and bluegrass music. Ruth Sutherland is a professional singer/songwriter/harpist from Hamilton whose roots are in folk, Celtic, and classical music. She has a trained mezzo-soprano voice, and Doug doesn’t! Together, they are two-thirds of the acclaimed Canadian Celtic trio Scantily Plaid, having performed in concerts and festivals across North America and Europe for over two decades  www.scantilyplaid.com . As a duo, Ruth and Doug are called “Harp’n aboot”  https://www.instagram.com/harpnaboot/  . They will be playing some songs that are very old and traditional, and mixing those with new songs and pieces that they’ve written themselves. The music ranges from beautiful ballads to raucous hand-clappers. Hold on to your boots!
